Guest post: Bulgarian youth coordinators’ experience of SCALE

The youth coordinators from Institute Perspectives would like to thank SCALE project partners for the opportunity to facilitate the Bulgarian ACL (Applied Creativity Lab) piloting phase. The piloting phase included a lot of events which took place twice a week from the middle of January until the beginning of March.

Our mission was to find methods which would help to our town Svishtov have cleaner air. The participants were very enthusiastic and found the SCALE methods very interesting and helpful.

However, they weren’t the only ones that gained knowledge and experience from this experience. We also developed skills during our work with 42 children from minority groups and this is the reason why we were chosen to go to the transnational meeting to join other partners in Brussels.

We visited in February and it was unforgettable experience. While there, we had a meeting with the partner countries that also participated in the project. Each team shared updates on ways that the project is being conducted in their country and we also talked about what else we need to do. The next day, we gathered together in the morning and had a walk around the beautiful city. We saw a lot of famous places and learned more about the city’s history. We had a really good time spent with really nice people!

Here are some photos that we took in Brussels:
